2002 seemed a kind of watershed.
After the World Views residency and making Seen from above and looking South, I looked forward to returning to what I thought of as my own work.

I imagined developing what had started with my move to New York; a more abstracted interior space where the perspective released one's sense of grounding.

This work pursues the experimentation with large color fields and the shift of perceived horizontal and vertical axes.

But of course, nothing is as straight forward as one plans.
